:: DIY Print & Children’s Art Display

I’m such a fickle person. I change the layout of furniture in my house, the colors of walls, and the color schemes of rooms at least every 6 months. It just makes me happy.

When it comes to displaying artwork, I’m just as transitional. I want fresh, new ideas and scriptures on my walls to represent the things God is teaching me today. And I need a fast, easy way to switch things out. Taking down frames, matching mattes, and repositioning them on the walls is just too much work.

Enter the window frame that has been hiding behind my couch for months – rescued from a trash pile. I picked up these mini clip boards at Office Depot the other day because they were too cute, but had no idea how to use them. Then the Sunday morning inspiration hit. This took literally 10 minutes to put together. The frame is hanging on two little nails and the clipboards are sticking to the wall with these great little velcro hangers from Target:

And, of course, if you’re looking for art to hang on your walls, might I suggest my little Etsy shop? All of the proceeds go towards helping me to pay rent so that I can work full-time in foster care.
