:: she’s waiting for home

Jon and Lara Dinsmore are blog friends who endeared themselves to Rachel and I by bringing us SweetTarts and baby medicine at a time when we had just run out of both. We met them just days after Ali Rose joined our little home and have had the sweet privilege of following along with their…

Sara - Praying for Mary to come home! I did 2 of the things to help bring her home :)

April - A former student teacher of mine shared this amazing story on her Facebook page, and because of that, I chose to stand up for Mary’s life in all 4 ways that you recommended. With God, all things are possible! I cannot wait for the day that Mary comes home! God bless!!!!

Margaret - I’ve been following the Lara’s blog for awhile, and so appreciate her perspective. So thankful for people like you also using your platform to support Kingdom work. I’m excited that I could participate in three ways to stand up for Mary’s life!

Jill - Praying for Mary… did three of the four :)

Lisa Syler - I did ‘em all, sister! Just returned from Uganda at the end of June, and cannot wait to see how God blesses this entire situation. Though we’ve never met before I’ve been following you for a long long time!

Blessings, MJ!

Lisa

Misty - I’m praying for Mary’s homecoming and I did all 4 things. I love watching this family grow!

:: stop for the one

One of the most difficult parts of life in Africa is realizing that you cannot help everyone. You can’t even help most. The theme of our year here has been to stop for the one, a phrase the Twin’s parents live by as well. It can become easy, when you live amidst such intense need,…

Heather Neufeld - Hey there- our blog is about our ministry and our family together, but we have adopted from Mozambique (where we live and work as Missionaries), you can us to the list if you like!

Heather Neufeld - HI.. our blog focuses both on our ministry and our family. We live and work as Missionaries in Mozambique, where we have adopted one child and hope to adopt another soon.
Heather

CIndy - I would love to be added to your blogroll. We, as you know…LOL, have a daughter from Uganda and a daughter from Ethiopia as well. Thanks!

Diana - I am a friend of the Hagertys and an AP to Payton (age 2, domestic infant adoption) and Bunte (age 4, Ethiopia older child adoption). Don’t know how helpful my blog will be, but it is kemperkite.blogspot.com.

Thanks,
Diana

April Houston - Thanks so much for the adoption resource page! I am sure that is to help us and possibly avoid a trillion emails and questions like this:) We are praying about Uganda adoption…we keep coming back to Uganda even after looking at other countries. I think I feel like we need an agency to navigate waters for us as this is our 1st adoption (3 bio boys at home) even though I know more and more people are coming to Uganda for independent adoptions. Any advice as far as you being on the ground, any agencies you can speak positively of? I love the blogs you listed (thanks!), I just know there is a lot to be said for what people like you on the ground would say. I am thankful for your journey and blog, I am a nurse too and was immediately drawn to your journey! Thanks for sharing what God has done. Any advice would be great! We are open to HIV too & I appreciate the info you listed! God bless!

sheli massie - hi there… we too are in the process of adopting from uganda. we are still waiting for a refferal of a sibling pair. with special needs. come follow us on this journey of faith…at
